back to earth (and a sick hubby)

we're back, we're back! have been for more than a week but been dealing with a sick hubby ever since we arrived back to earth... i mean toronto. he must have caught a bug in London, all the madness of elbowing people during the week of crazy Boxing Day sales (and rainy London weather didn't help a bit).

will upload our photos once there's chance to catch up on things. work piled up in ungodly amounts after we got back from the holidays, and it's been go go go ever since. i hope i don't catch the bug from him too! need to take it easy for a while, just to recuperate.

London was awesome, caught up with old friends and emptied our pockets during Boxing Day sales. it lasted all week, so it's really not just 1 day of sales. things were ridiculously marked down in stores of all price ranges, i've never seen so many people bent on 1 goal - everyone was out to shop like crazy! harrods had to institute the most draconian crowd controls (actually most major department stores did)... but somehow everyone still got in and if you're patient enough to wait in line, good deals were everywhere. we bought lots of P* brand merchandise at prices more likely to be seen at Banana Republic. i exaggerate not!

more to come next time, need to go off and nurse the sick for now... how was everyone's holidays?!
